WRAPS, CLAY, MASQUES & MUD.
During a wrap, your body is enclosed in warm linen or cotton sheets that have been steeped like tea bags in a medley of aromatic herbs. You're then covered with blankets or towels to prevent the moist heating from escaping. Wraps help relax muscles, soothe soreness and soften the skin. Mud- based therapies have been used for cenuries to detoxify, tighten and firm the skin. The natural ingredients culled from the earth are recognized for their healing effects. The quality of mud differs according to its origin. Clay contains many of the same natural ingredients as mud and is brushed on like mud but tends to act more as a exfoliant.
TESUQUE CLAY WRAP
A high desert treatment, it begins with a light dry exfoliation of your skin followed by a mineral rich clay masque applied to your entire body to nourish and detoxify your skin. After a refreshing splash in the Swiss Shower, the treatment concludes with a light massage using a signature blend of oil infused with native herbs to balance and moisturize your skin.
